HISTORY OF MY BEING BLOCKED BY FACEBOOK – Updated = January 13, 2019

I was again blocked by Facebook in my first Timeline for 30 days started January 11, 2019 for posting my old picture in swimming trunk exposing my chest and nipples (it considers this nudity) and it retrieved my old post on circumcision showing surgery on the penis which was posted about 3 years ago (again, nudity).

Thus, this will be FIFTH time that I am blocked by Facebook. Duration: 30 days from January 11, 2019. So the block will last until February 10 or 11, 2019. “Blocked” means I cannot post anything on my first timeline and pages and groups. I cannot also post messages in Messenger nor respond to messages. However, I can see posts and notifications from friends.

HISTORY OF MY BEING BLOCKED BY FACEBOOK – as of October 2018

First time – In July 2017, I posted a photo of far-advanced breast cancer as part of my breast cancer awareness. I was blocked for one day despite my explanation it was educational and part of my breast cancer awareness program. FB insisted it was against its Community Standards.

Second time – In November 2017, I posted a photo of a breast with needle aspiration of macrocyst. Again, part of my educational posts but against Community Standards of Facebook. I was blocked for 3 days.

Since then, I refrained from posting breasts pictures again on Facebook or anything that is considered nudity by Facebook. However, I was shocked when Facebook for the third time and fourth time blocked me without giving me a chance to explain. They blocked me for my older posts.

Third time – in August 23, 2018, I was blocked again. The video on How to Do Breast Self-examination has been posted in Facebook since 2015 and I have been reposting it every month as a reminder to my readers. With no objection from Facebook, I thought it was acceptable under the exception (breast cancer awareness). I was surprised on August 23, 2018 when Facebook decided to remove it and punished me with a 7-day block.

Fourth time – in September 13, 2018, I was blocked again for an anti-circumcision picture which was posted in 2017. I was blocked for 30 days – from September 13, 2018 to October 13, 2018.

Since November 2017, as mentioned above, I have refrained from posting medical pictures which are against the Community Standards of Facebook. However, I am still being blocked for old pictures that I posted before. This means that I have to look at my old posts from 2011 to 2018 and delete every pictures that are against the Community Standards of Facebook. Otherwise, If not, I will be blocked again, longer, and Facebook may delete my account.

What a hassle!

I hope Facebook will be more understanding to the objectives of my Facebook Project.
