Inspirational Talk to 2014 Graduating Surgical Residents and Fellows

Greetings!

Before anything else, I like to congratulate the 2014 Batch of Graduates of the Residency and Fellowship Programs of the Department of Surgery of the Philippine General Hospital for their mission accomplished.  I also like to thank them for the invitation to be their commencement speaker.  I consider the invitation an honor and a privilege.

The invitation asks me to give you graduates an inspirational talk.

Allow me to start accomplishing my task by enumerating first some assumptions and deliminations that I will use to facilitate my talk, in terms of focus and emphasis, and not to say, time management.

You are graduating surgical specialists and surgical subspecialists, graduating from the residency and fellowship training programs respectively.
