ROJoson’s Message

2011 (24th) Annual Christmas Get-together

MDH Cancer Crusaders Club

December 4, 2011

Good morning!

Kumusta kayong lahat?

Masaya ba kayong lahat?  Nag-eenjoy ba kayo?

Get-together for a reunion; sharing experiences; helping each other; learning from each other; giving support to each other; and giving each other strength to continue living life to the fullest in the midst of having cancer.

At this point, I like to thank Dr. Elsie Dancel for inviting me to this gathering of the MDH Cancer Crusaders Club.  I like to especially thank her for sustaining the MDH Cancer Crusaders Club and envigorating it.

This year, the Annual Christmas Get-together of the Cancer Crusaders Club is now on its 24th year.  Next year, silver anniversary na.

Aside from the Annual Christmas Get-together, Dr. Dancel has introduced the quarterly focused discussions and lectures and also the annual summer outings.

Dr. Dancel has really done a good job.  Thank you, Elsie.  Let’s give Dr. Dancel a big round of applause.

Allow me to thank also the leaders in the MDH Oncology Committee and in the MDH Administration for supporting the MDH Cancer Crusaders Club.  Let’s give the MDH a big round of applause.

Also, I like to thank Beth and Olive and their assistants for directly organizing and coordinating all the activities of the MDH Cancer Crusaders Club under the supervision of the Dr. Dancel.  Last night, I saw the MDH Cancer Crusaders Club facebook created by Beth and her assistants.  I enjoyed reading it.  I clicked on the LIKE.  I hope you will visit it and  like it too.  Let’s all give Beth, Olive, and their assistants a big round of applause.

Last but not the least and the most important people I like to thank, are all the members of the Cancer Crusaders Club, kayo hong mga kaibigang patiente ng mga doctors sa MDH, for participating in the activities of the Club.  The Club is for you.  Without you, there is NO Cancer Crusaders Club.

LIFE

Mother Theresa’s Credo

Life is an opportunity, avail it.

Life is a beauty, admire it.

Life is bliss, taste it.

Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.

Life is a game, play it.

Life is costly, care for it.

Life is a wealth, keep it.

Life is love, enjoy it.

Life is mystery, know it.

Life is a promise, fulfill it.

Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.

Life is struggle, accept it.

Life is a tragedy, brace it.

Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is luck, make it.

Life is life, defend it.

Hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the activities in this get-together.
